I have an idea

…. Fantasy Duelers Guild …

I have always liked the idea of OC contests, but I’ve never been able to join them because of their artist restriction, and it usually requires the contestant to be an illustrator more than a writer. Of course, I am a writer.

So, I thought perhaps if there was a OC club where not only would illustrators be allowed, but writers as well? The first known OC contest I came across was *Corrupted-CoreOCT that happens to allow writers to join it, but as I joined it as a writer, I knew I could not get far, but that is beside the point.

The point I am trying to make is that, would anyone here like to join a Fantasy or supernatural based OC ( original character ) club that will have OC tournaments and matches and other stuff, a recent idea came to me that my Fantasy Duelers Guild could also have a RP (Roleplay) campaign, in which it will happen within a chatroom within dAmn.

The idea for Fantasy Duelers Guild came after `RoninsUltramix’s successful Samurai Duelers League (SDL), knowing that OC club only allowed for Samurai and Japanese old style fighters that not necessarily had supernatural powers and such.

So, came my idea of Fantasy Duelers Guild. It would be similar to Ronins’ SDL but I would have FDG having the ability that the contestants/players to create their characters specially to have some supernatural powers and be some formof Fantasy style character, such as a werewolf and Vampire, Elf, Dwarf, and such, but, of course there will have to be certain limits to it.

The playing style I would imagine FDG would have:
~ Roleplay ( Within the Chatroom )
~ original OC tournament Comic strips
And
~ written story based turns in which their character duels another.

If Fantasy Duelers Guild comes to plan and everyone likes the idea of joining, I would like some help in creating it if anyone would be interested, but however I still would like FDG not take the shine off of Ronins’ Samurai Duelers League, but he is special

So would anyone be interested in my ideas? And in joining the Guild? Or becoming helper of making the Guild come to being?

I have a few people interested already in this. As is `RoninsUltramix so it would hopefully be sweet. I would like to inform everyone who's already interested to put this club on their devwatch list.
Also is there anyone out there who would be interested in promotional stuff such as making a CSS journal Design, Avatar and Literature tag, animated stamp and such?
Also I would need as much help as possible to keep this running. So all help is welcome.

Hi! It’s Ali (=Endorell-Taelos ) here, I’m the founder of FDG ( ~FantasyDuelersGuild ) which is kind of the same thing as SDL, only it allows for medieval setting and characters with supernatural ability.

At the moment I’m looking for staff who would be interested in helping the Guild come to flesh, not only at ~FantasyDuelersGuild but a chatroom in dAmn as well.

I would like a designer out there to help by designing a matching avatar, CSS journal, stamp, literature tag, character sheet profile blanks and player ID blanks. Please note me if your interested in designing this with me.

At the moment I’m still unsure about fleshing out rules, proper FAQ’s, Abouts, Rosters, and etc so that’s why I would like a staff group to help me on this.

Currently the only affiliate I have for FDG is *Fantasy-Fellowship which is an online art community, and possibly Ronins but not the whole Samurai Duelers League.

When FDG is properly ready for character submissions we will open the FDG account and moderate it, and if someone could donate to subscribe the account that would be great also. I only just realized that I cannot do this just by myself.
